You need to be listed on the Internet when somebody searches for your trade.
If you are plumber in the wetlands, you need a presence on the web, your name, and most important, your contact details, including your mobile number for when you're already on a job.
You could even include a reply form on the website so customers can leave their details and answer important questions about the work they require in advance of your call back.
But I don't understand all this bleating on about technical mumbo jumbo.....
